Hi! We are Ivy and Pete, best friends and owners of MXANIMA.
We met in foundation art in 2007 as tiny emo art kids and most importantly GIANT NERDS. 15 years later and nothing has changed (less cute though). MXANIMA is our passion project, combining our favourite things; pop culture, cool art and sad emo sentiments. We strive to make art and apparel for the discerning nerd, who doesn’t want to be embarrassed by awkward artwork but wants to display their passions loud and proud.
About Ivy:
I’m an artist and retro enthusiast based In Liverpool, UK. I graduated from MMU in 2011 with a Fine Art Printmaking degree. I love drawing (especially animals) and printmaking. I also collect 90's gaming/pop culture stuff and stream retro 90s games on my twitch channel.

About Pete:
I’m an illustrator based in Edinburgh, Scotland. After graduating from Fine Art painting at Manchester Met in 2011 I freelanced, full time, for 7 years. After making illustration my part time gig, the planets aligned and I landed a tattoo apprenticeship in 2020.
Favourite movie, tv show, game: Fellowship of the Ring, Game of Thrones (it ended after The Long Night. Don’t fight me), GRIS.
